Peerless Immortal 11.1

Chapter 11.1

At first glance it seemed like a well-intentioned offer.

Chang Ye remembered this slight in his heart. He grasped Jiang Yinghe’s sleeve and looked up with misty eyes, “Shizun, this disciple doesn’t want to leave Shizun…..”

Before Jiang Yinghe could reply, Li Huanhan’s voice rang out.

“I think that’s a great idea.”

The man in black stood to the side with his sword in his grasp. He originally had no intention of interfering, but the way Chang Ye fell into Jiang Yinghe’s arms rubbed him the wrong way. His blood-red eyes flashed as he approached.

Jiang Yinghe’s body had a very faint fragrance. He won’t deny that a righteous sword cultivator like him with a cold outside and a warm inside was an appealing choice for a furnace or even a ‘meal’.

Qin Jun was a wraith that reeked of resentful energy, and this childish little shidi wasn’t anything good either. He didn’t know what their intentions were.

Shizun said that he was the only one, but he brought back these mutts…..

Li Huanhan felt like his usually calm nerves were set alight as he watched Jiang Yinghe’s hand comfort Chang Ye. This shidi of his was a real eyesore.

“I also want to teach shidi to the best of my abilities.” Li Huanhan looked up. “Shizun?”

Jiang Yinghe knew that his sticky little disciple needed to grow up one day. He was clear on what needed to be done despite Chang Ye’s aggrieved expression.

“Be obedient.” He rubbed the youth’s hair. “At your age you need to learn how to be independent .”

Chang Ye blinked and hugged Jiang Yinghe’s waist intending to protest one last time. Yet his gaze slid over to the devil beast on the ground, and then to Qin Jun.

The gray-haired man licked his lips. He always gave off a feeling of hunger when looking at Jiang Yinghe. Chang Ye thought he was even more despicable than the bloodthirsty Li Huanhan.

Jiang Yinghe only raised his head when the little disciple buried in his embrace agreed reluctantly. He used his sixth sense to locate the many disciples that had come to Qing Jing Peak after hearing the bellows of the beast.

“Jun-er…..”

“This disciple knows.” Qin Jun answered airily, “I’ll take the beast to see our Peng Lai’s entrance.”

His eyes met Jiang Yinghe’s for a second, and the word he was planning to throw out got stuck in his throat.”

.....I won’t kill him,” he thought, “because Shizun asked me not to.”
_

Although the devil beast caught by Qin Jun was spared his life, he was forced to sign a contract with Sect Master Zhou to guard Peng Lai in the form of a towering devil statue.

His consciousness was sealed within. But when outsiders entered Peng Lai, he had to abide by his promise and do his utmost to protect the disciples for three hundred years.

Three hundred years was long enough to see those young cultivators grow old, and empires rise and fall. But to those of the devil race, three hundred years was a pittance of time.

This giant statue only solidified Qin-shixiong’s reputation among the other disciples. He may look steadfast and decisive, but he had an aura about him that made him unapproachable. Qin-shixiong was more terrifying than the evil creatures he slayed with Zhanyun.

There was a rumour circulating around that Qin-shixiong was the scariest when he smiled.

No one in Peng Lai had really seen the last disciple to arrive, so there was little for them to say about this shidi.

The moon was bright on that cold night.

The night pearl that Jun-er brought back was embedded in the wall. He had also removed the original desk lamp. After Jiang Yinghe returned from his seclusion, he found that Jun-er had made many minor adjustments to his residence.

Cultivators above a certain level were able to forego the need for sleep in favour of simply meditating, but they could still become tired. Jiang Yinghe, however, has maintained the habit of sleeping from nine to six. Before he lost his phone while transmigrating over, he had never slept so early.

Qing Jing peak tended to be quiet and the spirit cranes on guard duty outside were already asleep. The night pearl radiated a soothing light.

But this long silence was disturbed by the presence of another person.

Today, the Foolish Scum Gong Screwed Me Over Again 1

Chapter 1 "Qiu Yanzhi?" Liu Cheng chuckled as he swirled his flute of champagne. "His appearance might be appealing, but he’s a real bitch." "What makes you say that?" A man came up and asked curiously. "The legitimate little master of the Qiu family was willing to throw away not only his dignity, but also his life over a man.” Liu Cheng folded his long legs and leaned back in his chair. "Do you know what’s even more pathetic? That man doesn't even like him back." "How do you know?" "I saw it with my own eyes." The first time Liu Cheng met Qiu Yanzhi was at a birthday celebration. Liu Cheng went with his ‘boyfriend’ at the time, but as soon as he entered the villa, his attention was captured by Qiu Yanzhi, the most eye-catching person in the crowd. It wasn’t a formal occasion. There were all sorts of people present in the smoke-clogged room. There were many people on the sofa, including a va

Chapter 1 - A Rare Warmth Jiang Yinghe rested on the elevated platform listening to the disciple in front of him carry on with his pleasantries that contained a trace of conceit. He slowly massaged his hand, brushing over his fingertips. But his gaze was not affected at all by the other’s words. This person was supposedly a diamond in the rough, a true son of heaven that came only once in a lifetime. His Zhangmen-shixiong (1) beside him was quite pleased with the young man, and quietly said to him, “Xuan Wei (2) , why don’t you go with this one?” After hearing those words, Jiang Yinghe swept his eyes past the area below. He made no sound of agreement.  The youth lost his polite yet arrogant air immediately once he saw that Jiang Yinghe was unimpressed. He paled, and quickly left to lick his wounds elsewhere. The other candidates behind him, however, beamed in anticipation and stepped forward eagerly to replace him. It’s not that Jiang Yinghe doesn’t want to take o

Chapter 2 - A Keepsake for Shizun Under the thundering sky, a neverending torrent of rain was currently being unleashed on the cliffside where Jiang Yinghe stood silently.  Despite the stormy weather around him, his snow white cloak remained untouched by the elements, with not even a raindrop able to approach him. He gazed towards the impermeable clouds that surrounded the upper layers of the Typhoon Blade Cliffs (1) . His disciple was still inside… This kind of place was meant for cultivators far beyond his level. Even if he is a genius that surpasses the heavens, there’s nothing he can possibly do when faced with such an insurmountable degree of difficulty. After all, he only entered the sect two years ago… These two years were not easy for him. Li Huanhan had both his identity and qualifications scrutinized by not only the members of the Peng Lai Immortal Sect, but the entire cultivation world. Li Yue Zhenren (2) even came personally to inquire about this matter. Sh
